A Jog is a mnemonic device. Be familiar with your target words, remember your Jog; the first letters will jog your memory allowing you to learn & recall all target words in order. E.g. Richard of York gave birth in Venice. First letters give colors of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet- omitting none and maintaining correct order!
